In the first grade, Mrs. Eilertson told my mother.
that she thought I would be the class clown.
My mother cried.
So I cheered her up with juggling and balloon animals.
Now imagine my mother's relief when I told her later in life that I wanted to study art.
My name is Andrew Brynjulson. By day I'm a creative at Astronaut Studio, where I help craft brand strategies for only the bravest of sustainable businesses, clean technologies, and eco-initiatives. By night I freelance under the guise of Brenni Fresh, run a screen printing studio and artist collective that I co-founded called Harlequin Studio and serve on the South Dakota Advertising Federation's Board of Directors (SDAF) among other things. My background is in art, communication and business and I have every intention of putting it all to good use—maybe on your next project.
We live in a serious world full of serious people, serious problems and serious business, which I take very seriously...but not too seriously. I guess Mrs. Eilertson was right.
