DESCRIPTION

Carbitex provides the magical carbon fiber technology used in the adidas football boots found on the feet of Leo Messi, Mo Salah, and Karim Benzema. As a huge soccer fan, I was thrilled to help create the visual design language to help Carbitex communicate on the same level as its many partners like adidas, Scott, Saucony, Burton, North Face, Mammut and more. The technology speaks for itself, but could the brand?

The first task was an identity refresh, rethinking everything from type, color, pattern, and imagery. We drafted new typefaces that were bolder and more expressive.

We doubled down on the brand's orange palette, using it in a way that it would vibrate off the page and amplify images.

We approached the material photography as if it was a mysterious, alien material, just discovered.
